WhatsApp is bringing a whole new feature for its users. With this feature, users can get information about various stores in the locations near them from their app.
From the app, users can now view segments like photos, videos, documents, contacts, etc. As a result of this new feature, users in another subcategory will be able to see the details of various business topics in their specific locations. WABetaInfo reports that several users in Brazil have already taken advantage of this new feature.
‘Business Directory’ is the new feature. With this feature, users will be able to search for different items according to their location and buy them directly by contacting the sellers. The goal of this feature is to make the app more commercial.
To be listed in the business directory, eligible businesses must still apply. If your company qualifies, the business directory can be found under the Business tools menu.
Tap “More options” , “Business tools” “Business directory” From the Chats screen.
Tap “GET STARTED” > “NEXT”.
Examine your company’s profile and fill in any gaps. Then, tap NEXT.
Fill in a valid CNPJ for your company. Then, tap SUBMIT > OK.
You’ll be notified when your application has been examined and the status of your application has been determined. Go to the Chats screen to withdraw your application. Then tap “More options” > “Business tools” > “Business directory” > “More options” > “Withdraw application”.
If you make any changes to your business profile after it has been authorized for the directory, you must reapply and go through the review process again. Go to the Chats screen to reapply, and tap More options > Business tools > Business directory > SUBMIT PROFILE
We already enjoy the benefits of UPI transactions through the WhatsApp payment feature. With this new feature, users will be able to purchase their necessities directly through UPI Payment in the same way. However, there is no word on when the feature will be available in other countries, but it is expected that more information will be available soon.
